Bachelor Course:

Admissions Requirements:

 

  1. High school graduate and GED.
  2. The college as providing minimum qualifications for admission as described in this section of the catalog has established the requirements for admission. The college follows an open admissions policy for those who meet the spiritual and educational qualifications outlined. All applicants for admission to AMERICAN CHONGSHIN UNIVERSITY must show evidence of Christian character and competent scholastic by providing a spiritual autobiography.

 

Graduation Requirements:

 

AMERICAN CHONGSHIN UNIVERSITY offers a Bachelor’s Degree. In order to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, the student must meet the following requirements:

  1. Successfully complete one-hundred twenty-Six (126) credit hours including all core and or electives for Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. All financial obligations must be met.

Master Course:

Admissions Requirements:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree graduate and Equivalent courses.
  2. For Master of Theology, students must have a Master of Divinity Degree or an Equivalent
  3. 3The college as providing minimum qualifications for admission as described in this section of the catalog has established the requirements for admission. The master follows an open admissions policy for those who meet the spiritual and educational qualifications outlined. All applicants for admission to AMERICAN CHONGSHIN UNIVERSITY must show evidence of Christian character and competent scholastic by providing a spiritual autobiography.
  4. Minimum GPA of 2.5 and no grade below a C in any course work. Completion of dissertation.

 

Graduation Requirements:

 

AMERICAN CHONGSHIN UNIVERSITY offers a Master’s Degree. In order to graduate with a Master’s Degree, the student must meet the following requirements:

  1. Successfully complete Fifty Six(56) credit hours including all core and or electives for Master’s Degree.
    1. Successfully complete Ninety Six(96) credit hours including all core and Project and or electives for Master of Divinity.
    2. The Th.M. is a 36 semester-hour program with two options for program structure: a thesis track and a non-thesis track. Students choosing the thesis track will complete 30 credits of coursework and write a thesis for which they will be awarded 6 credits. Students opting for the non-thesis track will be required to complete 36 credits of coursework. They will also be asked to submit two papers to the major department which give evidence of their ability to research and write on a high academic level. The papers submitted may be the product of coursework. Formulate a productive research question and conduct advanced research and writing on this topic. Demonstrate an understanding of pedagogical strategies and effective teaching method.
  2. All financial obligations must be met.

Doctor Course:

Admissions Requirements:

 

  1. Master’s Degree graduate and Equivalent courses.
  2. For Doctor of Theology, students must have a Master of Divinity Degree or an Equivalent and Master of Theology.
  3. The college as providing minimum qualifications for admission as described in this section of the catalog has established the requirements for admission. The master follows an open admissions policy for those who meet the spiritual and educational qualifications outlined. All applicants for admission to AMERICAN CHONGSHIN UNIVERSITY must show evidence of Christian character and competent scholastic by providing a spiritual autobiography.
  4. Minimum GPA of 3.0 and no grade below a C in any course work. Completion of dissertation.

 

Graduation Requirements:

 

AMERICAN CHONGSHIN UNIVERSITY offers a Doctor’s Degree. In order to graduate with a Doctor’s Degree, the student must meet the following requirements:

  1. Successfully complete Thirty Eight(38) credit hours including all core and Project and or electives for Doctor’s Degree.
    1. The Doctor of Theology is a 56 semester-hour program complete 48 credits of coursework and write a thesis for which they will be awarded 8 credits. Students opting for the non-thesis track will be required to complete 56 credits of coursework. They will also be asked to submit project papers to the major department which give evidence of their ability to research and write on a high academic level. The papers submitted may be the product of coursework. Formulate a productive research question and conduct advanced research and writing on this topic.
  2. All financial obligations must be met.
